Summer makes me tired

I'm not dead, I promise. Just haven't been in the posting mood lately. I've been keeping up with everyone's posts and blogs and all, but have felt lackluster towards writing anything of my own. I got sucked into some sort of summer lethargy. Which is ironic, because I've been busy, in a non-busy sort of way.

Last weekend, I went to Boston for the ( Read more... )

I've lost the desire to post as well, but I've been forcing myself to do it a bit lately. If only so that someday I can come back here and read about my life.

Enjoy your tour of the White House. I've been watching a lot of Bones lately, which is set in D.C. and on occassion they will talk about a place that I recognize (such as Dupont Circle), and it gets me all kinds of excited. I think I need to come back to DC and see more of it. I loved it so much when I was there.

And if only I lived in D.C., I would be your roommate. I've been thinking lately about how I'd really like to get a roomie and save money. But that involves moving and finding a roomie and consolidating furniture, and ugh, too much work.

Yeah, well I think for me, it's all related. Like, I'm apathetic in life, and that makes me apathetic about everything. I did make a huge list yesterday and am starting on it.

Any time you want to come back to DC and visit, you are more than welcome to stay with me. You should come when it's warm, because it's much nicer to walk around and all.

(And BTW, all weekend, whenever anyone mentioned fireworks, I would see Jack Donaghy in my head, throwing up his hands and saying, "Fireworks!")

SO MUCH! After the fireworks on the Mall, I was all, "Where were the ones shaped like cowboy hats?" But nobody got it. BLERG.

They are two of my favorite people in the world, so I'm super psyched to see them.

Yay! Have so much fun! I want to hear allll about it, and whether it is actually like TWW. Because life imitates the world of Aaron Sorkin, obvs.

That I kind of really want to go see Bye Bye Birdie this fall.

Ooh! Pick me! Pick me!

Have a good weekend. :)
