* I think I have a TV hangover from this past week/weekend. Y'all, I watched a crap ton of stuff in the last 10 days. In the moment that is always fun but after, when you have to go back to the real world, it's not so good. It's been a long time since I've gone on a "bender" like that and uh..yeah. I dunno. I just feel kinda crappy, I guess.

* Today's commute sucked. I felt like I was in slow motion, and actually was wanting to get to work early (more on that in a sec), but there was a slow train, which turned into a dead train, and detraining, waiting for a new one, which was also slow. So, according to news reports, my town got 23 inches of snow today! That's insane! Earlier today, Old Roommate, Old Roommate's Boyfriend and I went out and ran around in it for about two hours. We then attempted to clean off our cars and dig out Old Roommate's Boyfriend's car, as he has to take Old Roommate to the airport tomorrow. I am not sure ( Read more... )

Has been most excellent. I met up with Old Roommate and Old Roommate's Boyfriend after work, and we went shopping for the winter storm, then went out to dinner, than came back to my apartment for some Buffy, cosmos, and chatting. It's snowing out (the BIG, historic storm has started here in the DC area), and I have a Christmas tree, and I opened ( Read more... )

So I decided to get a little Christmas tree this year. Got it earlier in the week, attempted to string lights on it, and today I got all my ornaments from my parents' house, and decorated it. It's a little bit depressing to decorate a tree all by yourself (especially while listening to Kristin Chenoweth's Christmas album), but I'm glad I got one. ( Read more... )
