I recently mentioned to some friends that I did not trust someone, mostly because of how cute she is. They didn't seem to really understand what I was saying, and I had trouble explaining it. I just saw Brick at the landmark tonight. It's a hardboiled crime noir very much in the vein of John Huston. The characters are all high schoolers, for the most part. It's so gritty and dark, funny and relatable. I've resolved to make more enemies among people i don't respect ( Read more... )
