Sure you're losing money, but you're gaining coins.
Okay, so I realized that I only want to post in this thing when i've been on the train. The reason i was riding the train is a long complicated story, spanning months of careful preperation, which i will share with y'all some other time.
Erin and Emily from
Cincinnati, Oh will leave town town tonight, on a red eye. Emily is hoping there is a bad movie, so she can sleep without regret, and I bet Erin is hoping to return to significantly less drama than usual. I'm betting against both of them.
On another note, why are there no change machines in the muni terminals? or more accurately, why can i break a $20 into four $5, a $10 into two $5, a $1 into four quarters, but not a $5 into five $1? Seriously, WTF, man? I had $1.32 going into the muni, and after playing change machine slots for about ten minutes, finally realized i had to go up to the street, enter a store, purchase something (gatorade, $1.75) walk to the next station, as i had passed the point of no return, and enter only to find the money collection machines closed. I then jumped the gate and rode the last train home.
On the upside, i rode the train for free, but it took like half an hour, all told. What I should have done was just address the mostly non-english speaking crowd and convinced someone to trade me seven cents for a quarter. If this were
Super Mario Bros you'd be that much closer to a 1up.
