I wanted to change the oil in the Jeep and mow my lawn last night. It was impressively nice weather for October. I barely accomplished either of those tasks. I managed to destroy the cap for the oil reservoir such that it turns in either direction without actually unscrewing. I shot up to Albany. I was 25 minutes late. I still sat for 40 minutes in a bar waiting for everyone else to show up. That was great. At least it's a bar I like. Though they didn't have the pumpkin ale I wanted.

So, at the end of my shift Friday night, Lex Luthor fired me. It's a little upsetting. For a number of reasons. Mostly because he's really only fired at most four people. So, Saturday evening, I met up with Beast and Sol to have a few drinks before we saw comedian Dom Irrera. We saw him here once before and he was within the two best so far. Sunday found us (me, Storm, Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Beast) at the New York Renaissance Faire. We were required to go before they opened to catch the "story." Which, for those who don't know, is a plot (or several) that is acted out anywhere in the faire throughout the day. Some major events happen at more or less planned times and locations.
