A bit of an odd one, but it's when she and Jack are trapped in 1941 in 'Captain Jack Harkness', and she has to leave clues behind for the others that are in the present day. And lacking anything else to write with (it being urgent that she writes this information now), she just cuts open her hand and uses her own blood. Which is above and beyond, and very Toshiko because it is both very logical, really extreme at the same time and involves abegnation of her own self-interest, because there really has to be a better way.

And yes, I am aware that three of my 'favourite moment for character x' involve the characters hurting themselves. I can't help it, it's that sort of show.
