'Another Life' is another Torchwood book, set at the start of the first season. So I'm not going to say anything about parts where the characters's backstory departs from what's later revealed in Season 2. Honestly, I'm not sure. One of the problems with Miracle Day was that it just didn't feel like Torchwood, and I don't know why. I don't think it was just the move out of Wales but a lot of the really mordant humour and little details (Johnny Davies in Children of Earth for example) went with that, so I think I'd want them to comeback to Cardiff ( Read more... )

Not sure it counts but I was out on a fencing social the night 'Exit Wounds' was first shown and the three of us that watched it made a pact not to mention it. The Weatherspoons we were in were showing it on their TVs so some of the other fencers swapped places with us so we wouldn't be spoiled.
