Gah! Does anyone happen to have a Sprint phone I can have or use for the next six weeks or so, or know someone who might? My phone took a dive at the grocery store, landing flat on it's face. I fully expected it to be fine but turned it over and it is shattered. It's operational but not really safe, I've brushed several slivers off my fingers. ( Read more... ) -

Earthquake!
Holy moly! That was scary! 5.8 earthquake in the DC area, but we're all safe and sound, to ease the minds of the out of town loved ones. :) -

I have recently come to the conclusion that my goofy/stupid closed mouth smile is genetic. My son does it, as does my sister. Photographic proof forthcoming... some day.
I have also realized that I've had my LJ for almost ten nine and a half years. -

I told a number of people when I thought I was further along and everything was going well, and I am using the crutch of LJ to catch up because it's just too hard to go to everyone and give them less joyful news. In gratuitous sock news, there's a nifty groupon-like site called Jasmere. I've gotten a few things from them. Yesterday they had a deal with a sock company - not *quite* as nifty as sock dreams in terms of breadth, but really cute stuff.
