So... I fly slightly more than the average leisure traveler - probably six to eight times a year - though obviously less often than the road-warrior business traveler. I seem to be the only one I know who actually factors in how to avoid and (if that fails) survive a crash when doing my planning. I'm actually not in the least bit afraid of being in one, it just seemed to me the first time I read an article describing what kind of people tend to be survivors I took it to heart, did a little more research, and actually implement those things. I wear sturdy shoes, natural fibers and weather appropriate clothing. I sit in the back of the plane. I book non-stops. I count the rows between me and the exit in front of and behind me. I pay very rapt attention to the safety speech and I actually look at the little flyer in the pocket of the seat in front of me. The only thing I don't do that I probably should is book aisle seats.

So just curious... do any of you make any conscious "just in case" adjustments? Or am I, as a coworker hints, overly paranoid?
