Today is election day, and I am ashamed to admit that I messed up my absentee ballot request and am missing out on voting. Unfortunately the democrat-held house seat in South Dakota is actually considered a toss-up, and my vote might have mattered...

Some people are expressing disbelief that President Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize less than a year into his first term. And in some ways this is understandable. In summary - we rocked, and turned the state from slightly red to solidly blue.

The latest thread of attack against Obama that actually seems to be gaining some traction are the "Joe the Plumber" accusations that Obama's plans "sound a lot like socialism".
