The first Lilly made contact with us a couple of days ago. We have conversed, but have been shaken to the foundation.

Time to see what rubble shakes free and what stands tall.

We have not felt this vulnerable in some time.

today has, surprisingly, been one of the first 100% good days I've had in a long while. Maybe it's the joy of having a new life in your hands that does it (especially since she wasn't all over-tired and upset like the first time I met her) or maybe it was that somehow a turning point was reached. part of me wishes it was both, actually ( Read more... )

someone recommended we write a letter that will never be sent, to address issues of anger and such... at least as a means of venting.

why does every feeling of success come immediately followed by large bouts of depression? desire for company followed by intense desire for solitude? why is the urge for solitude both for hoping that someone will help and for re-affirming that the depression is the right thing to do ( Read more... )
