We won!

The proposed amendment to the Massachusetts constitution to ban gay marriage is officially dead! I went with Tauheed, Sylvia, and Jane to the State House to see a live broadcast of the vote. The hall was divided in half, for pro and anti gay marriage people. We filled up our entire half of the hall, and then took over the other side's balcony.

and omg that exact same foot-in chair-crashing-down-in-auditorium thing happened to me earlier last semester in the Schwartz Auditorium in Rockefeller Hall, except I was trying to get from one aisle to the next by stepping over chairs and then the chair ate my foot and I smashed the leg that wasn't over the aisle yet into the chair and...ouch. Yeah.
