Benadryl extra strength itch stopping gel

Does anybody know if this is safe for use during pregnancy? The active ingredient is Diphenhydramine hcl 2% so I should think so.

I woke up this morning with a few very itchy red spots. It looked like mosquito bites so I figured a mosquito must have gotten into the house during the night. Except then new spots started popping up. There were 3 when I woke up at 7:30 and now, at 9:30, I have about 25. I have been up literally all night. I have an uncontrollable foot itch. I remember years ago having this problem when I pregnant with the daughter and for the life of me, I cannot remember what I did to rectify this situation.
Any suggestions? PLEASE!

Last night right before bed, the backs of my hands got very hot and itchy. From my wrist, up to my middle knuckle on most fingers. It looks like a sunburn, and kind of feels like one too.

I checked the tags and I couldn't find an answer to my specific question. I'm 32w 2d and the itching is driving me crazy. I know I shouldn't scratch and I use lotion everyday but it's getting to the point where it itches so much I can't focus. Has anyone tried an oatmeal bath? Does it work? Any other ideas on what I should do/try?
