Attack of the Killer Feet

May 01, 2010 09:19

I have been up literally all night. I have an uncontrollable foot itch. I remember years ago having this problem when I pregnant with the daughter and for the life of me, I cannot remember what I did to rectify this situation.
Any suggestions? PLEASE!

I do that on a regular basis. The ped egg helps a teeeeeensie bit. But lotion makes it worse.

Sarna lotion

Chances are, this is just hormones. BUT, Have your doctor do a bile salts test. The bloodwork can take a while (like, a week), but this is a possible symptom of ICP, which is serious.

Other than Insanse Clown Posse (worst band ever), what is ICP?

Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy, though whether that's worse than Insane Clown Posse is debatable.

I have the itchy feet too, but it's on and off and never days in a row. It is mainly on the sides and sometimes bottoms. Given I haven't had a pedicure in months I am hoping it is dry skin.

My dr. has told me hydrocortisone cream up to twice a day is fine.
