This year Daniel and I were at two parties where there were gift exchanges.  One was with friends and one was with the youth at church.  We had done the same thing with both groups last year - everyone draws a number, when your number was drawn you either opened a gift or stole a gift that had already been opened.  It took forever.  This year both ( Read more... )

I found some sweet Sesame Street fabric at Value Village. I'm going to use it to make a crib quilt for Forrest and Amanda's little baby who is due in mid-July. I'm sick of finishing my day with the feeling that I didn't do anything with it. I need something to do!!!

I did start teaching myself how to quilt tonight. I'm also thinking about doing NaPoWriMo. So that's something, I suppose.

DnD was fun tonight. Lots of carnage during a battle that we didn't have time to finish. We had to take pictures of the battlefield so we can set it up just like we left it next week. I think the highlight was Roger feeding his horse a potion of spider climb and then riding him up a wall. Ahh, good times.

I want a small, cuddly mammal to, well... cuddle. A furry one would be nice.

Soccer games start in a week and a half. I should probably start getting in shape or else I may puke on the field.

Kauai in three weeks. Aaah!
