Snow! Daniel got to come home early because they were afraid everyone might get stuck at work. I want to go out and play in the snow, but Daniel doesn't have waterproof pants, so he doesn't want to go out and play with me. It just wouldn't be the same by myself. back at school... it's kinda weird. i feel old.

I'm not what you'd call a "dog person", but I want a Japanese Chin. They are the perfect breed. Quiet, neat, lap dogs bred for Japanese royalty. We held a puppy today at a pet store and fell in love. My $1,216 tax return should be here by the end of the month. And in June another $600 check is coming just because the US government thinks we all need to spend more money. What they don't know is that I'm going to be stimulating Canada's economy instead. Ha ha! Suckers.

The bad news: Despite our best efforts, Angus keeps losing more of his tail fin. It's a strange phenomenon, for his behaviour is not changed at all, yet piece by piece his tail is ever shortening. Time for a story about my awesomely cute nephew. He's three, and apparently has learned how to write his name correctly. My mom said he showed her a picture of a guy he drew; he had a head, eyes, a nose and mouth, and also a lot of stuff coming out of his head that she wasn't quite sure was hair...
