I found some sweet Sesame Street fabric at Value Village. I'm going to use it to make a crib quilt for Forrest and Amanda's little baby who is due in mid-July. Once Mike and Rachell pick out colours for their nursery, then I will shop for fabric for their quilt (for their son, also due in mid-July ( Read more... )

No, we haven't. At least it's still playing. If I made Watchmen ones they would probably be from the comic anyway.

ooh if you're lucky your blanket will be THE ONE! i have always wondered how blankets become special blankets and toys become favorite toys, cause everybody gives blankets and toys to babies. how does the baby choose?!?? what does it take for that baby's blanket or toy to be the security blanket for the 15-year-old?

Good question... Now I'm all nervous. What if the baby hates it? And I'm not sure a 15-year-old would be super attached to a Sesame Street blanket. Maybe secretly, but certainly not publicly. Unless Sesame Street has that nostalgic-cool edge (like Rainbow Brite does today) 15 years from now.
