so i'm learning that food shopping doesn't HAVE to be uber expensive....and i can still cook yummy dinners for half of what i had been spending even a month ago. i've found a few cheap eats/cooking sites that are really helping too....

Hooookay.  I checked the memories for this, but i cannot find it.

While back, someone posted how they make homemade breakfast sandwiches that they keep frozen.  I remember it involved muffin pans and cooking an egg mix in such.  However, I cannot remember anything else.

Has anybody seen any good deals on window air conditioners lately?  My landlord is going to reimburse me for two of them (yay!) and while i could probably get away with running out and buying whatever I prefer to be thrifty.  I've seen good deals on the really little ones, but those are only good for a 10 X10 room, I need something a little bigger ( Read more... )

Good Kitchen gear can cost good money this tutoral from here shows how  to revamp cast iron found cheap at yard sales and thrift stores (I have my great aunts cast iron fry pan from 1947 and I use it all the time I rarely use anything else for roasting meat I can brown it on the stove and then just pop it in the oven and nothing sticks)

I almost always shop for meat in the clearance bin at Safeway. Whatever is on sale is what I buy, and then I make our dinner menus out of that. I got a $5.99 package of turkey cutlets on clearance for only $2. I prepared them as if they were veal cutlets, first dipping them in a scrambled egg and milk liquid, and then flipping them into seasoned ( Read more... )
