How can I buy healthy groceries without spending a fortune? If I cook I have to follow a recipe and if I follow recipes I end up spending a fortune on all the different ingredients. Any advice on how I save money on my groceries?

Anyone have their own, or know of a good one online?  My meals were taken care of for me in the co-op that I lived in previously.  Now I have no idea what to buy.  Help, please!  Thanks!

Nearly 300 dollars for a week and a half's worth of groceries?? Is this normal? I've never gone grocery shopping before, as silly as it sounds, and it turned out to cost WAY more than I expected.
