I was just reading the back of my (rather expensive) color safe bleach, and the first ingredient is hydrogen peroxide.  After that come surfectants (?) and fragrance.

Would I be safe in assuming that I could just add (much cheaper) plain old hydrogen peroxide to my wash and get the same results, or am I playing with fire?

Good Kitchen gear can cost good money this tutoral from here shows how  to revamp cast iron found cheap at yard sales and thrift stores (I have my great aunts cast iron fry pan from 1947 and I use it all the time I rarely use anything else for roasting meat I can brown it on the stove and then just pop it in the oven and nothing sticks)

I have a 10'X5' floor rug, and several smaller ones made from 100% synthetic Olefin fiber. I would like to clean the entire rug, but "cleaning (and "washing") Olefin" did not produce many usable results from Google. I have a beautiful white silk blouse that I got on sale at Petite Sophisticate before they went out of business. I wore it not too long ago and, not thinking, threw it into the laundry basket. K, maybe this is a dumb question...I know that keeping your fridge coils clean is the best way to maximize efficiency of any fridge (and my fridge is an OLD model, so I highly doubt it's horribly efficient even when completely clean...but with the amount of stuff in there--it's at least 20 years old I figure, and I don't think it's EVER been ( Read more... )

Ive been offered the oppurtunity to pick another small cleaning companies customers as they are no longer physically able to work, the only problem is that Ive never cleaned houses for a living before.
