I have a beautiful white silk blouse that I got on sale at Petite Sophisticate before they went out of business. I wore it not too long ago and, not thinking, threw it into the laundry basket. I only discovered my mistake after the shirt had been washed and dried. So now I have a slightly crunchy, generally unpleasant feeling pale pink silk blouse. (Yeah, to make things even worse something ran in the wash.) I've tried washing it with Woolite and adding white vinegar to the rinse water, but that didn't seem to help much. (It's slightly more silk-feeling, but still pink.) Do you guys have any suggestions? I'd rather not spend the money to dry clean it, but if you think it will actually help I will. This is my lucky blouse, the last two successful job interviews I've had I've worn this shirt! I'd love to get it white again, but if I can't I've read that silk can be dyed successfully, so that's not as big as deal as getting it to not feel crunchy anymore.
Thanks in advance!
