I've just received the result from the Department of Philosophy. Oh my god. I've done it. I passed. With flying colours.
This either means I'm a far better philosopher than I thought - or that everything is possible.

Funeral Went Well
...that is, as well as a funeral can go. I admit I was not so sad because of great-auntie (let's be fair - she led a very long, eventful life and certainly had her share of fun) but because everybody else was sad, especially her son (mother's cousin) and my mother, as the old lady was her favourite aunt. I'm feeling kind of down...
...for no significant reason. It's more like those hundred little things which torment one to death. It's rainy, cold, I have to work on a translation that's just silly (and difficult), while my own research is covered in cobwebs. Because the sodding essay is done. I finished at 8:30 AM, after more than 12 hours of writing. It's not perfect - actually, it's not even good and I half expect them to return it.
