Violin Update

SO! We went to the doctor today and the prognosis is good!
Of course, he diagnosed several major ailments and seems we'll need at least two transplants, but the patient should be completely healthy by the end of October. Yay! :D
It will cost a small fortune indeed, perhaps even slightly bit more than a completely new violin, but this one has a considerable emotional value, as it´s my only bond with a grandfather I never knew. Also, even if I got a new violin for the same prize, it would only be a very cheap, factory-made one with the basic strings. All in all, it's much better to have this one repaired and expertly adjusted. I can hardly wait. Will refresh my theoretical knowledge meanwhile. And find a place to train. As I have already mentioned, I can't really train at home, because the co-op would surely find it a good reason to pester us, but I suppose that I can always go to the nearby park or even a bit farther to the forrest and fields. Well, not always - as long as the warm weather lasts. Also, my mother says I can come and train at my parent's place anytime I want, but I am not sure she knows what she's talking about. After all, she's nearly 64 and I don't think she could stand listening to someone trying to play a violin. She's nervous enough as it is.
We shall see. For the time being, I'm just happy the patient seems to be on the way to recovery.
