It's astounding how much life can change in just one week. I've been working at MAIFE all summer, diving and collecting data and doing dirty work for Robbie and Maria at Save The Bay, and was lucky enough to take a few little trips or days off here and there. Spent 8:30-4:00 doing my drysuit class today with Cal! Then hung out at the shop with Jocelyn, Margaret and Jim and got a beer afterwards with Cal, Charles and Jocelyn. I'm watching CSI New York right now. On the show, apparently there is a plane hijacking in process or something. The actions of the flight crew are just so not believable. And this got me thinking. I fly back to Rhode Island a week from Saturday. That means only 10 days left of Three Seas XXV. I designed our tshirt and everyone is getting one. On this morning's dive I went to my deepest depth ever - 50 feet!! Still haven't seen any sharks or rays (thats gonna be on Wednesday after my fishes final exam when we go to feed the rays) or any turtles. But I have seen a lot of octopus. I managed to injury myself. Ugh. Broken neck. No, I joke. Not broken. But it feels like I have a perpetually pinched nerve and my muscles spasm everytime I move.
