The leaves were turning and branches were aching to relieve themselves of the burden of supporting such untamed life. The sky gleamed a soft shade of gray, breaking occasionally to show the illumination of light behind it. The road was long and seemed to stretch forth into the distance forever.

i cried today, for the first time in forever.
