I need a new journal layout. I like the style I have now, but the creator of it uses a free photbucket account and at the end of every month, her bandwidth is exceeded. Making my own headboard
Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm DIY type of girl.. Anyone who knows Chris, knows that he's not. I'm also an extreme deal hunter, but I won't sacrifice quality. Chris will usually opt for the cheapest thing.

No Electronics
I put an electronics ban on our house this last weekend. No TV, computers, video games, radio.
It was really nice. We were so much less distracted. We actually ate every meal TOGETHER (rather than in seperate rooms). I cooked! We cleaned! I made a headboard for our bed!
I feel better. I feel prepared for the week. We should do this more -
Answers but no answers
Today we met with the neurologist as a follow-up. We were expecting some firm results from the MRI and EEG, but we didn't get them. The hospital was delayed at getting the EEG readings to him, so he hasn't been able to to formally interpret it. We talked about the MRI results instead. After much complaining that I am not getting enough sleep, that I always get up with the baby and let Chris sleep, that I stay up with the baby while Chris gets to nap, and that I'm falling asleep while standing at work, I finally was allowed to take a nap today.
...only to be poked awake 15 minutes later and told "no seepy!"

Wow! I haven't posted in a long time! I keep telling myself I will, but I've got to make it really interesting with pictures and everything because I don't have a lot else to say! My digital camera is full and I haven't had the time (or energy) to clear it out to my computer. So no pictures yet.

The Baptismal Gown
I am so proud of this gown. I started knitting it the week I found out I was pregnant. Our families have two very distinct traditions surrounding baptisms that I wanted to carry on to my children. Chris' family has a gown that 3 generations have worn for their ceremonies, and each child in my family wears something handmade for our ceremonies. ( Read more... )
