After much complaining that I am not getting enough sleep, that I always get up with the baby and let Chris sleep, that I stay up with the baby while Chris gets to nap, and that I'm falling asleep while standing at work, I finally was allowed to take a nap today.

...only to be poked awake 15 minutes later and told "no seepy!"

*sigh*

Chris broke my hand (not intentionally), but I waited too long to go to the doctor for them to do anything easy about it.  I couldn't decide if it was just very badly bruised or worse, but they say it is most definitely broken.  It's already started healing, and they'd have to rebreak it to set it straight.  Do I even bother ( Read more... )

As a congratulatory gift to myself for getting my promotion and raise, I got a new camera!

It's a very beautiful Samsung L200Black!  It's a big upgrade from my 4.1 megapixel camera that I was using.  This new camera has 10.2 megapixels and makes a world of difference!

Chris and I have gone to Holy Hill every October since we've started dating.  As far as family knows, that is where Chris proposed.  So we have made it a tradition.  Most of the time when we go, the leaves are bright red and yellow and orange, and it's cold enough to stop at one of the many farms along the way to pick up some homemade apple cider ( Read more... )

Chris has weird shaped feet.  His second toe is shorter than his big toe.  Everyone else I know has a longer second toe.  I think it gives your foot a more normally shaped, leaner look.  His feet look flat and wide.  And their kind of hairy...we joke that he has hobbit feet.  Chris loves to wear socks to cover them up.
