Sweetest Day
Chris doesn't believe in Sweetest Day. I have to admit, it is a completely made up holiday. Then again, Chris doesn't believe in Valentine's Day either. Just his luck that he proposed on Sweetest Day six years ago!! Well, we've been married for 5 years, so this is what I got for Sweetest Day:
My wedding ring is fused with my engagement ring (the two smaller stones are the wedding ring, with the larger one being the engagement ring). I get a TON of complements on my "engagement" ring, and I get asked all the time "When are you going to get married?" It gets pretty annoying to have to repeatedly tell them that I've been married for 5 years!
So for Sweetest Day, Chris gave me an anniversary band to go with my wedding ring. It is 5 stones that match my wedding stones. Beautiful and sparkly!
Sometimes he can be a romantic!!
