It's been a whirl wind of a weekend. I can't remember what I did on Friday. It was my day off and I did start working on my taxes. The drain in my kitchen sink was clogged up and plumber dad came to fix it for me. Plumber dad is awesome! \o/

Saturday:

• vacuumed new carpet (vacuuming is only fun when the carpet's new!)
• laundry

Around 10pm last night,  I was having dinner and watching season one of Big Bang Theory when the power went out and I was plunged into darkness. I sat in darkness for a moment and said aloud, "Please come back on now." On Saturday...Went to a recital in the morning. Then in the afternoon, I went carpet shopping with my mom because I know nothing about carpet and neither did she so the two of us were asking lots of questions. We hit 5 different stores and picked up several samples that I liked. They're laying around in my living room right now trying out the light ( Read more... )

• run back home to pick up a few items for 1pm meeting

( weekend recap )

Today is Election Day. Just finished voting.

Everything is set for the LA screening; the flight and hotel are booked. Got some maps so I know where to go once I get there. Now to figure out what to wear! :)

Ok, so I did something really geeky today...I put one of the ADB movie posters in the back window of my car! :D

Cleaned house, did some laundry, practiced a bit for tomorrow. It doesn't seem possible for those three things to fill up my day but it did. The house cleaning was the biggest chore.

Kate Hewlett updated her blog. It seems she may be at the LA screening! :D

Flight is booked. Hooray! Looking for a place to stay now.
