Got back from Seattle and the Van con on Tuesday afternoon and hit the ground running back to teaching and rehearsals. I have 3 concerts in the next week and a half. I have to be at church at 9 to rehearse with the vocalist (who usually doesn't show up until 9:15) on Sunday mornings. I packed my running clothes to change into after church for a run in the park which is just 3 blocks away.  I remembered my small ice chest to keep my cold drink in. I remembered all of my music. Still recovering from the weekend. Monster Concert took it out of me. ( But it was a great concert and we had great feedback from the woman who was with Jane Bastien, our featured composer this year. )

It's been a whirl wind of a weekend. I can't remember what I did on Friday. It was my day off and I did start working on my taxes. The drain in my kitchen sink was clogged up and plumber dad came to fix it for me. Plumber dad is awesome! \o/

Saturday:

• vacuumed new carpet (vacuuming is only fun when the carpet's new!)

The highlight of my evening last night was finding my lost DVD player remote! *rejoices* :D It had been missing for 2 months. It was under the couch, even though I had looked there numerous times before.

Ok, I'm nearly over the utter disappointment that I will be missing the opportunity to perform John Rutter's Magnificat next April. :( *sniffle* I will be on a plane returning from a conference in Denver the night of the concert. John Rutter, along with Robert Convery, has written some of the most beautiful choral music known in the universe.

Looooonnnngggg rehearsal last night. This weekend is the big Glorious Sounds of the Season Concert, with performances this evening, Saturday evening and a matine on Sunday. Every show is sold out! :D

The first batch of Christmas cards are in the mail! I have a few more to get in the mail next week.
