Hey all,

It's been a while, as I don't know if anyone is actually reading this in LiveJournal anymore, seeing as i post in her thrice a year at most (hence the Facebook and MySpace x-post), but here goes....

I'm in the throes of my usual winter depression.  This go-round (my second year being medicated for it, albeit medicated year-round), I'm on 40 ( Read more... )

This sounds like a job for Super Jia! Seriously though it sounds to me that you are letting your job self get in the way of improving your whole self. You seem like a task oriented guy to me and work is not supporting that guy. But there is no reason why you can't support your whole self using task oriented goals. Example: Tanya wants to spend more time with you, you want to impove your health: Do exercise together. Exercise may also help assist you in maintaining a more life positive internal clock. You don't need a gym to exercise, go for a walk, or bike ride, or find an exercise video on this new fangled thing we call the internet. But that's just one example.

Thanks for the ideas Hun, definitely going to look at that kinda thing (the task oriented goals thing that is)

Btw, when are you free in the next few weeks? We need to get together like 2 months ago :-)

Lunges do you mean? And you're sorta right, in that spice does aggravate it, but oddly enough, more from heavily spiced things like curries than from capsaisin-hot spicy. Acidy stuff like cranberry sets me on overdrive as well, but not the godsend of caffeine...and meditation- maybe I should do that instead of raiding Naxx :-P

You put a smile on my face when you boldly stated what has happened there- it takes a lot of courage to coMe out and say that, especially to someone who doesn't know you that well... I'm definitely going to be seeing a doc soonish at least for my meds and a referral, and from what Tanya says, she'll cover the cost of the PAF thing if her bloody student loan ever comes in...

Thanks :-)

Yea... its not really something I make a habit of telling everyone, but reading your entry kind of hit home in a few ways so...

Anyways, glad to hear you're gonna see the doctor soon, and are able to try to work some things out. I hope everything works out for you. Let me know. =]

I obviously can not diagnose you or anything Pat, and I don't plan on doing so since I fall WAYY below Doctor standards as you probably already know haha, but I can say that based on reading your passage, you do have stress and stress does cause a tear or two in ANY relationship. You and Tanya share a life together, and sometimes, tension builds up and that IS completely normal, it doesn't affect the love, care and respect that you have grown for each other. Take time out for one another, I know you mentioned lack of money but take walks, play a video game together, watch your favourite movie, something to unwind and take time for each other. A Relationship, can be very frustrating and challenging, but it also defines who you are . . even take ridiculous pictures of one another, something that connects you on the same level. On the money front *le sigh* with the failing economy it's a tough go, but really, you don't need money to make yourself happy . . and you can easily workout without going to the Gym, there are oodles of ( ... )
