I'm part of a book club through an old job of mine, and I just got done reading A Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold. Now, nature writing is a tricky thing. Spent weekend gobbling down a massive Connie Willis time-travel book.

Now, at work, feeling stranded in the wrong place at the wrong time with malfunctioning equipment, just like in the story.

*sigh*

Sitting around in the Jury Assembly Room, waiting to see if I need to serve on a trial today or not. Taking advantage of the free internet to surf for pretty socks and tights!

Yup. Pretty much yup.

This weekend was a nice mix of indoors and outdoors. Wrestling with administrative details of the GNSI art show. Not that the show is coming along badly, just that the computer is cranky--so frustrating to say "I will type here now" and then it ends typing over somewhere else, grrr growl.
