Okay, I've been able to get a few hours of sleep so I'm fresh enough to do this. As everyone knows, I've been planning on this trip for a very long time, and Friday I made a dream of mine a reality. ( Cut for tons of photos and content )

Looks like the BMW's starting to develop issues. It's now randomly stalling out when I'm stopped at a light. It'll start back up but immediately die, so the fuel system fixes I threw at it a couple of months ago aren't the culprit. The most plausible explanation is the intake manifold gasket, which sucks as the one I put on the car didn't even last ( Read more... )

Another year winds down to a close, still and deathly cold befitting the sub-zero arctic chill mere feet from where I'm sitting.
