OMG. be careful what you wish for. you just may get it. i don't know what to think right now and i can't discuss it anyway.

in the news today: food riots all over the world. food riots???? that's right. I can't believe there would be such a thing as food riots during my lifetime. apparently between corn being used to produce gas, the climate changing and overpopulation, food prices have gone up so much in poor countries, that people can't afford food. even here prices ( Read more... )

well i just had a disappointing experience at True Pilates NY. I was looking forward all week to this, too. first of all i get there- they have the wrong time down for my appointment. i've been looking up and researching becoming a Pilates instructor. I have a business idea, which I should probably write up into a plan. I have an appointment next Saturday for an asessment at Roman's True Pilates. I don't expect to get accepted there as they are the best and they are pretty rigorous about who they accept. this songwriting thing.
i have what i think is a nice song going. trouble is, i can't play it, i can't sing it. i can't sing and play it at the same time. it's not that hard but i just can't do it. i can hear it in my head. i can sing it when i'm not "trying" to sing it. it's like i have songwriter apraxia.

In my effort to stop procrastinating, after all that is what i do, I bought a book on the subject and have learned a lot about why people proscrasinate and what to do about it. what I have done so far to stop: i set my two week goal like it said to do. my goal is to get to the gym six times in the next two weeks. i went today. five more to go ( Read more... )
