in the news today: food riots all over the world. food riots???? that's right. I can't believe there would be such a thing as food riots during my lifetime. apparently between corn being used to produce gas, the climate changing and overpopulation, food prices have gone up so much in poor countries, that people can't afford food. even here prices have gone up but people still can afford it. this is just unbelievable to me. i don't know what i can do about it but it seems like everyone here should adopt a family in a poor country and send them a little bit of money every month. even $5 a month. most people here could afford that.
