Here is my pet peeve:  GUI tools, addons, plugins and tweaks that use their primary image space -- the one displayed on the search page -- for their logo rather than an actual screenshot of their product.

I just had to call a handful of stores to ask if they still stocked 3.5" floppy discs.  One place laughed at me.  Apparently I am hilarious.
