Been watching The Wire via our Netflix subscription.  I know that I'm a million years behind on that one; I meant to watch it after a lot of my favourite actors from Oz moved there when that series finished, but it's hard to get excited about yet another police drama when there are a hojillion on TV, most of them forgettable

I actually bought the complete series of The Wire a while ago because Best Buy had all of the HBO boxed sets at 40% off, but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. So...no spoilers!

I promise no spoilers (just don't read that wikipedia link)... but you should definitely watch it. At least the first season so you can "meet" Omar who is superawesomegreat.
