I am going to be going on a trip to Big Bend this summer! As my previous outdoor experience has been in mostly wooded areas (Eastern woodlands, Texas pine forest, Arkansas bayous), I'm not exactly sure what to take on a desert trip. I am in the market for a new tent and noticed this Eureka Tetragon 9 Family 9-Foot by 9-Foot Four-Person Tent is on sale today only for $94.99. It has all the features I'm looking for in a tent, I was just wondering if anyone has used this brand of tent (of this exact model) before? Is it a decent tent?

I am planning a cross-country (USA) walk and am looking for some advice. Specifically, on food containers.

Ours is a year old, and we are trying to figure out how to organize a trip in the next few months, and wanted to read up on advice and potentially even find some people in the same boat to organize the trip with.

Hey I made a really cool guidebook for camping with what to bring and whatnot, and I am working on a recipe section...but I can't come up with anything besides s'mores and puppychow which we always bring. Any ideas (with recipes please)?!!
