sleeping bags

My husband has been given some money to spend on supplies for when he goes to forest fires. He would like to use part of this money to buy a new sleeping bag. We live in a small town and Big5 is our only option for camping supplies, they had about 6 sleeping bags all of them under $30. Since we have money to spend, we want to go for quality, coldest temp he would be sleeping in we're thinking maybe 50 degrees. Can anyone recommend a sleeping bag we should check out and we can look at purchasing it online?
