I really don't know, since all I am doing is going away for a long weekend, why I felt it necessary to get myself into a frazz over getting various things done that could perfectly well wait until the beginning of next week.

Finding a word for something is satisfying, but I'm not sure how far it gets me.

While I was away I had a small and trivial incident of a thing that I find generates a disproportionate emotional response of rage, resentment and humiliation.

It's horrible having one's major thing on the last day of an event. It hangs like a cloud of doom/deepens like a coastal shelf/prowls around growling with menace, etc.

However, today has not been so bad, even if I did have a moment in the reaches of the night when I was full of fuming angsty anger - at people for not communicating and not telling ( Read more... )

Last night I was awoken about 5 am by a call of nature. When I got back to bed it was cold. I got up to put on an extra blanket. In the process I noticed that the curtains needed adjusting. By the time all this was done I was pretty much awake.
