The thing with going away for 3 weeks is that when you come back:
There is doing various things that you committed to doing (emailing info to people etc) while you were away or thanking people for stuff they did during your travels..
Doing those things you deferred because you were going away (hai, eye test & dental hygienist! editorial things)

(Well, busy by my recent standards, anyway.)
Today: finally rang my hairdressers to see if my stylist had an appointment this week as I was beginning to resemble the Dulux sheepdog - she did, one only, this afternoon.
This meant that I didn't need to go to a local post office as there is one in the same block as my hairdressers.

Why do people ask, apropos one's working week/day - and not in the context of trying to arrange a meeting, when it's valid, but simply as a casual conversational gambit - are you busy this afternoon/at the moment/busy week ahead?/etc
