Living in the southern hemisphere is a strange beast. Today is May Day and yet with the season's wheel turning we are already in autumn heading rapidly towards winter so it is sort of like an unofficial Samhain instead. Too confusing. Woke up early today and decided to go to a "Somachi" yoga class which seemed to be some sort of ashtanga-vinyasana-flow class that just kicked my ass!! Amanda Fucking Palmer was a-fucking-mazing!!!! Top notch high-energy super-fun show with some random guest apperances from a famous Aussie dude named Paul Kelly among other famous people that I didn't know (UPDATE - Mick Harvey, ex-Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds).
