I remember last year's birthday so vividly because I was all alone in a foreign country having moved there mere weeks ago and barely knew any of the international students there. OMG u are back in Japan *shocku*. I'm still in Australia but I moved away from Cairns to the Gold Coast.
I miss Japan but I can't imagine going back to ECC. So I can't imagine living in Japan again.

No, no, I didn't move back to Japan; I'm only here for one month. As part of my uni course in Melbourne I'm doing a Master's seminar program in Hiroshima that lasts only one week and then I'm done with school completely. I'll be going back home to Los Angeles after the X Japan concert in Yokohama to start job hunting.

Happy birthday! I know the last couple of years have been rough, but hopefully you'll come back to the states and find a place and a life that you love. Somewhere you'll be at home and happy with loads of friends and enough money to not stress about it.

And thank you for the beautiful postcard from Japan. Hopefully we'll see you in a few weeks, drown_rat says hi and happy birthday too.
