Someone tried to get into our car again. This time, there was NOTHING of interest visible. Yes, we have a new stereo, but the face wasn't on it. He got pulled out officially on Friday. The good news is they gave him the clearance to take the DLPT. He's scheduled to take it on the 23 and 24 of August. Soon, huh? I hope he does well on it. ...although it's still not official yet: Warren's getting kicked out of class. It's not official yet because all the paperwork hasn't gone through, but it's in the works. The students in Warren's class served as guinea pigs for a new test and nearly everyone did quite poorly. Warren's scores were somewhere in the lower end of the class's grade range. There's a bad odor emanating from somewhere in my apartment. It smells like dirty dishes that have been sitting or trash that needs to be taken out. But the dishes have been washed, and bleach, dishsoap, and pinesol have been chased down the drain with scalding hot water for two minutes while the garbage disposal was run. I know how to work it.

Since I had so few hours at Longs, starting yesterday I was practically begging for more hours. Well, it paid off. Since they knew that I was wanting to work more, they asked me if I'd work on Sunday for 4 hours and on Saturday for 8 hours. Yay! Now I'm working a 20 hour week.

I'm so happy. Lots more money for me.
