Someone tried to get into our car again. This time, there was NOTHING of interest visible. Yes, we have a new stereo, but the face wasn't on it. NOTHING else was in there that they could have looked at and said, "Hmmm, I want that." They tried to get in the passenger's side door. They fucking broke the lock completely from the outside (still works from the inside, though), tried to pry off the handle so the whole handle will have to be replaced. They tried to pry open the door, so now there are dents and scratches all along the top of the window.

I really think that it's someone in the complex now. Two times in just over a month? It has to be someone who's watching the car. Wouldn't you think?
So now what? We move? We get a fucking car alarm installed for however many hundreds of dollars on top of paying for the damage deductible? But you know car alarms don't even work. Please. You think I'm going to wake up to anything if I'm sound asleep in the middle of the night? Not likely.
The management can't really do much. The best they could do is get lights installed and get cameras put in, but I don't even know if they can/will do that. I'm going to talk to them as soon as I'm done work at Longs today. But yeah, I don't know if they can or will do anything.
This bites. I really don't know what we can do at this point. Looks like we really are going to have to get the renter's insurance now. Another $20 to pay each month. Oh, goodie.
