I heard a comment on the radio this morning and it got me thinking, are people really that impressionable as to not have their own opinions ( Read more... )

You're not the only one, Ann. I'm right there with you. I never believed anything about the WMD's, and I certainly didn't think there was enough evidence of anything for us to go to war. It's good that Saddam is out of power, but I hate that we're still over there.

You are by far not the only person to believe and, indeed, know that there was insufficient proof about WMD and no good reason to go to war.

Just ask any one of my friends in Portland. Heck, ask almost anyone in Portland.

Unfortunately, there are a hundred million people who will say otherwise, and that is sad.

I needed to hear that. I KNEW I wasn't the only one, but I needed to hear it after that comment. None of the guys in the studio disagreed with the statement that "we all were" duped into believing Bush, which led me to believe that all of them WERE duped into believing it. And that's just... sad to think that all of them were led so easily to believe Bush when he had NO REAL PROOF.

Good to know that I'm not the only sane one in America.
