Justin Timberlake is too high. I would put Katy Perry above him tbh

This list is a joke. Katy maybe a flop now but she ruled the 2010s. How are Lil Wayne, BTS, Miley and Nicki above her???

i gotta know whos number one now!!

so far who hasnt been mentioned:

lady gaga, beyonce, taylor, rihanna, ???

i also wouldve put britney in the top 5 but i need a rubric to see how they assess their pop stars

bey sounds like a perfect number one, she has been reigning since the early 2000s (as a solo artist)

taylor and beyonce are definitely gonna be 1/2. imo, drake shouldn't even be top 5, but i'm hoping 5. my guess would be drake, lady gaga, rihanna, taylor, beyonce. but i assumed britney would be higher so who knows

i really thought she'd be higher. i had her and taylor scrapping for 2 with beyonce at 1. taylor and beyonce are obviously going to be 1/2 and i'll be curious which order they go with since there's objective arguments for both. i would give it to beyonce if just because she's been huge the entire century (they counted the nsync years/success for justin, so i assume destiny's child will be included for beyonce)

i assume drake is next (he should not be above britney) but i'm also curious whether gaga or rihanna will be higher since they were both really successful with lots of hits and have had lots of success in other venues. i'd ray rihanna has more hits but gaga was ~talked about more in her peak

These rage bait lists are the only thing keeping Billboard mildly relevant. Most of their editors and contributors have their heads up their asses. They rank #1 in the “Worst Publications with Questionable Taste” list. Pitchfork ranks second.

Who are the top 5? I think objectively Beyonce, Gaga, and taylor should be higher. Anyone saying Gaga hasn’t been relevant since 2011 is delusional, especially when Brit hasn’t had a true hit since 2003 (and I love Brit)

what do you mean Britney hasn't had a true hit since 2003? Womanizer, 3, Hold it Against me all went #1 in the US and were released between 2008-2011

I agree with OP re: Gaga but THIS! (Also, this is Gimme More erasure and I won't stand for for it lol).
