Billboard Ranks Britney Spears at No. 6 on Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century List
…and the Internet is not happy about it.

Billboard is getting backlash after listing Britney Spears number 6 on their list of Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century.
Despite all of Britney’s massive success through out the span of her 25 year career, the pop princess somehow did not manage to crack the top 5.
Yes, this is the same pop star who had other labels trying to create their own Britney’s in her prime and still continues to inspire the upcoming pop girls of today’s generation.
Now this is a choice… should’ve been Top 5 (top 3 if I’m being biased). No one defined 2000s pop like Britney did. https://t.co/Y2pHFLF2qs

WTF? This woman literally has 2 diamond albums (incredibly difficult to get) and a huge impact on music and pop culture, yet someone like Gaga, who hasn't had a solo hit since 2011, is ranked above her, what a joke https://t.co/ie5JjloM05

Billboard’s worst move so far on the Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century list is putting BRITNEY SPEARS at #6 on the list.
