i'm just gonna say this now because i'm hangry and this post is perfect for it but like

the moment taylor swift stops doing music, she is going to fade away. she has 0 "star power", 0 presence, 0 iconography or whatever. i was in middle school when she was getting popular and i regularly forget that entire part of her career. her come up still feels very "there were too many black people, we need a safe white one" and ariana grande is similar but actually has vocal talent.
