I love raw onions too. With a bit of lemon and salt... yum!

When my Brother was 3-4 he'd go into our garden, pull up an onion, wipe the dirt off & eat it like an apple.
He hates onions now.

Me, on the other hand, like onions. I prefer the mild white ones. The red are nice too, but if I have them raw on a sandwich they bother my stomach. They're really good baked on a BBQ chicken pizza though.

i didn't like onions growing up but i've made myself accept them. it's just that they're so strong that the flavor overpowers everything. i still hate mushrooms tho.

I still can only eat onions if cooked. I can understand green onions or sweet/yellow onions somewhat, but I DO NOT understand how people like raw red onion in their salads. It just overpowers every other flavour and scent, there's no balance!!!

I don't eat beef even semi-regularly anymore, and haven't for over 25 years, but when I did and I had McDonald cheeseburgers I loooooooooved the little chopped onions. They were so good.

I once asked them to add it to a chicken sandwich when it was pointed out to me that I could. It was not the same. And I was sad.
